Jon- I think what Kevin is betting on his name recognition he’s got a lot of pleasure and he’s well known in the general region. I think a lot of voters will not care whether he’s an NPP or whether he’s a registered Republican he’s done a superb job of highlighting issues that Republicans care about.
This will be interesting to watch play out. I agree Kevin has done a lot of good works, but It's also true that the vast majority of this new district are new voters for him. He will have to focus In the June election, I think, In getting those Republicans to propel him Into a one-on-one showdown In November with one of the Dems.
